Job Title: HVACR Instructor Assistant

Department: Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Pay Rate: $12.00/hour

Employment Period: Through Spring 2026 trimester Hours per Week: Up to 10 Hours

Job Brief

The HVACR department is looking for an assistant for lab set up, Lab clean-up, light office duties, lifting and moving of shop equipment. Assistant will prepare lab equipment for student use, assistant in disposal of equipment, assist in relocation of equipment, keep tool room organized, update tool inventory weekly, maintain refrigerant and flammable gas storage in compliance with OSHA standards, maintain checklist confirming completion of any and all assigned duties.

Minimum Qualifications

Pell eligible Student
Experience in HVACR or relevant position
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication ability
Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
Able to use a ladder and have no fear of heights and tight spaces
