Tennessee College of Applied Technology Northwest (formerly known as Tennessee College of Applied Technology Newbern) is applying for reaffirmation of accreditation with the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education. Persons wishing to make comments should write to the Executive Director of the Commission, Council on Occupational Education, 7840 Roswell Road, Bldg. 300, Suite 325, Atlanta, GA 30350, or submit their comments via the Council website (www.council.org). Persons making comments must provide their names and mailing addresses.

The Council on Occupational Education granted initial approval for the merger of Tennessee College of Applied Technology Northwest (formerly known as Tennessee College of Applied Technology Newbern), Tennessee College of Applied Technology Ripley, and Tennessee College of Applied Technology Covington. The newly merged institution’s main campus will be the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Northwest, 340 Washington Street, Newbern, TN 38059. The following campuses are included in this merger:

TCAT Northwest (formerly TCAT Newbern) (129200) - to become the Main Campus, 340 Washington Street, Newbern, TN 38059
TCAT Ripley (129206) - to become a Branch Campus, 127 Industrial Drive, Ripley, TN 38063
TCAT Covington (129205) - to become a Branch Campus, 1600 Highway 51 South Covington, TN 38019
TCAT Northwest - Union City Extension Campus (129201) - to remain an Extension Campus, 204 South Second Street, Union City, TN, 38261
TCAT Ripley - Bells Instructional Service Center (129202) - to remain an Instructional Service Center, 6514 Highway 412 South, Bells, TN 38006
Ripley High School Campus (129207) – to remain Instructional Service Center, 254 South Jefferson Street, Ripley, TN 38063
