About

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Northwest Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) program is an FAAApproved Part 147 program that prepares students for careers as certified Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) mechanics through comprehensive classroom, laboratory, and hands-on aviation maintenance education. Located at the TCAT Northwest Newbern campus, the program provides instruction in General, Airframe, and Powerplant disciplines, including aircraft systems, structures, engines, hydraulics, sheet metal repair, inspection procedures, and aviation safety practices aligned with FAA standards.
