About
HVAC Technicians work on cooling and heating equipment used in commercial and residential buildings. They install and repair equipment ranging in size from small window air conditioners to large central systems. When installing new equipment, the technicians put the motor compressors and other components in place following blueprints and design specifications. The technician connects all pipes, refrigerant lines, ducts, and electrical power sources. Most jobs for HVAC Technicians are found with dealers and contractors who specialize in selling and servicing cooling and heating equipment. This program is accredited through HVAC Excellence.
