Community Relations ManagerThe Tennessee College of Applied Technology Northwest is accepting applications for a full-time Community Relations Manager. This position will be primarily located at the Newbern Campus.

Required Qualifications
• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in an office environment with significant responsibility.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge and demonstrated experience using multiple business software applications, including online record systems, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to tactfully communicate with employees and the public at all levels.
• Ability to design and maintain record-keeping systems.
• Ability/willingness to maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of Banner, Jaggaer, and other applicable systems.
• Tennessee Board of Regents experience and/or knowledge a plus.
• Excellent time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills required.
• Knowledge of multiple areas and leadership experience is a must.
Responsibilities
• Special Assistant to the President.
• Work closely with the TCAT Northwest President and other administrative staff, including but not limited to managing special projects and events, coordinating institutional advisory meetings, document preparation, scheduling, planning, and other duties as assigned.
• Manage and promote the institution utilizing all forms of social media and marketing venues.
• The ability to conduct independent research to correctly discern the importance of information, and experience dealing with multidisciplinary assignments where applicable rules differ and may be subject to interpretation.
• Responsible for assisting in the reaffirmation and accreditation process for the institution.
• Continue developing and maintaining the TCAT Northwest Alumni Association and fundraising campaigns.
