The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Northwest is accepting applications for an Compliance Manager. This position will ensure the institution adheres to federal, state, and institutional regulations, with a specialized focus on accessibility standards and accounts receivable management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, education, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Three years of experience working in compliance, accessibility coordination, or financial operations in higher education.
  • Knowledge of ADA, Section 504, FERPA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Evidence of excellent communication, computer and customer service skills. Must be able to communicate sensitive and/or complex information in a confidential and straightforward manner.
  • Must possess a high level of accuracy, self-motivation, and strong attention to detail.
  • Must have the ability to handle a heavy workload and multi-task.
  • Familiarity with academic environment, policies and procedures, knowledge of Banner preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure institutional compliance with ADA, Section 504, and other accessibility-related regulations.
  • Serve as the Disability Services Contact and Accessibility Chair for the institution.
  • Collaborate with academic and student services departments to implement inclusive practices and accessible learning environments.
  • Conduct regular audits of facilities, digital platforms, and instructional materials for accessibility.
  • Provide training and resources to faculty and staff on accessibility standards and accommodations.
  • Manage student billing, payment plans, and collections in accordance with institutional policies.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable records and prepare financial reports.
  • Coordinate with financial aid to ensure accurate student account data.
  • Assist in developing and enforcing procedures for overdue accounts and debt recovery.
  • Assist Title VI and Title IX coordinator with compliance.
  • Manage compliance documentation, including contracts, agreements, and required reports.
  • Maintain documentation and prepare reports for compliance, audits, and regulatory agencies.
  • Other duties assigned by the President and Vice Presidents.

Salary Range

Commensurate with qualifications and experience and according to salary guidelines established by the Tennessee Board of Regents.
