This position is located in Newbern, Tennessee and is responsible for delivering instruction in advanced manufacturing and multi-craft industrial maintenance within the Engineering Systems Technology curriculum.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical diploma or degree, or higher-level post-secondary credential in a related field preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years of work experience in advanced manufacturing, industrial maintenance, manufacturing production, or a closely related field.
- OSHA 30 certification or strong working knowledge of OSHA standards.
- Proficient operating vertical and horizontal milling machines, lathes, drill presses, saws, and computer numerical controlled (CNC) machines as related to an industrial work setting.
- Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD), AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other relevant design tools.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrical systems, robotics and mechatronics, lean manufacturing principles and quality control processes.
- Basic understanding of welding fundamentals and safety practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of integrating audio/visual instructional tools into classroom delivery.
- Ability to maintain accurate student records and grade reporting in a digital learning environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both secondary and post-secondary students.
Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction in basic and advanced courses within the engineering systems technology curriculum to prepare multi-craft industrial maintenance professionals.
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with program competencies and industry standards.
- Establish and maintain professional working relationships with students, faculty, administrative staff, the public, and business-industry professionals.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress in the program.
- Actively participate in student recruitment and engage regularly with local industry representatives to align training with workforce needs.
- Perform related tasks and other duties as assigned.
Salary Range
Salary will be commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications and will follow the guidelines established by the Tennessee Board of Regents.
