Required Qualifications
- AS degree in Business/Accounting or Technical Diploma, and three (3) years of office work required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Possess organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks as required.
- Experience using QuickBooks, Jaggaer, and Banner a plus.
Responsibilities
The Financial Support Associate will work under the supervision of the HR/Finance Coordinator. The individual shall be responsible for assisting with business office functions related to purchasing, contracts, accounting, and general ledger functions.
• Assist with setting up Accounts Payable invoices to be paid in a timely manner.
• Assist the Business Office with accounting functions such as receipting payments, deposits, and balancing accounts.
• Assist with monitoring AP email group for requisitions, invoices and packing slips.
• Assist faculty with program-related purchases, including requesting vendor documentation and necessary paperwork for the bid process.
• Assist with the purchasing process by entering requisitions in Jaggaer and managing the receipting process for items ordered.
• Assist with travel claim processing.
• Assist with the institution-wide inventory.
• Assist with preparing Accounts Receivable invoices for business or industry, financial aid repayments, supplemental, and various other customers.
• Assist with entering and processing contracts into Contracts+
• Assist with Contracts, Procurement and Purchasing Reports.
• Assist branch campuses and departments with operations and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
